The IUCN members declared their support for the International Year of Rangelands and Pastoralists 2026.
We are excited to share that IUCN members approved the “Protecting & restoring endangered grassland & savannah ecosystems” motion, requesting IUCN to seek support from State Members for the designation of “International Year of Rangelands and Pastoralists” at the UN General Assembly.
