As the online version of the CBD COP 15 begins, we would like to highlight the critical relationship between mobile pastoralism and biodiversity:
Protected areas should be managed in full compliance with the inherent rights of mobile pastoralists, especially their land rights, avoiding policies harming the integrity of communities, such as forced evictions & restrictions to their mobility.
