Our “A Cultural Landscapes Based Assessment: Coexistence of Nature and Culture in Aegean Coasts of Turkey” project continues with our extensive stakeholder workshop.
We are organizing the “Nature and Culture Coexistence on the Aegean Coasts Workshop” on December 5-6, 2023, as part of our project to share current data compiled on both biological diversity and small-scale fishing. The aim is to identify threats in the region and determine actions collaboratively with participants. Representatives from public institutions engaged in research, conservation, monitoring, and management of coastal and marine ecosystems in the Aegean Sea, as well as members from non-governmental organizations, academic institutions/scientists, private sector representatives, and representatives of institutions working towards the identification, support, and organization of small-scale fishing, will participate in our workshop.
Stay tuned for the results of the workshop!
